EFA Talks with Herve Renard to Coach 1st Team in Progress

Egyptian media outlets indicated, Saturday, that the Egyptian football association has very progressive talks with the French women's team coach, and former KSA 1st football team coach, who had the achievement of beating Argentina in the group stage at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, to coach the Egyptian first football team.

EFA sources told Kora Plus that both parties are so close to reaching an agreement, and they are discussing the financial terms.

The sources added that the majority of the EFA board of directors agreed upon sacking Rui Vitoria, and they are discussing the financial issues related to Vitoria's contract.

Last Sunday, in a gripping round-of-16 match at the African Nations Cup, Egypt, under coach Vitória, faced a heartbreaking exit after a penalty shootout defeat to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
