EFA Receives Proposal for National Team to Face Paraguay Friendly

The Egyptian Football Association received a proposal for the national football team to participate in a friendly game against the Paraguayan team.

The proposal didn't set a certain location for the contest whether inside Egypt or abroad. 

In the same context, the Egyptian football team will face an African team in a friendly game, before resuming the fixtures of AFCON qualifiers next month.

Last March, the first Egyptian national football team achieved a valuable victory over its guest Malawi with 2 goals to null, in the match that brought them together this evening, at the Air Defense Stadium, in the third round of the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire 2024.

Egypt advanced with the first goal in the 20' through Mohamed Salah, who turned a cross from Mohamed Hamdy into the net of Malawi.

Omar Marmoush fired a shot from outside in the 45 + 1 minute, to hit the Malawi defense and then settle into the net, announcing the second goal.
