EFA: KSA to Host Egypt Cup Final Between Al Ahly, Al Zamalek

On Monday, the Egyptian Football Association announced that the final of the Egypt Cup between Al Ahly, and Al Zamalek will take place on March 8 in Riyadh, KSA.

The defending champions Ahly qualified for the final after defeating Enppi 3-0, while, Al Zamalek secured their spot in the final after defeating Pyramids by penalties 4-3. 

Last December, Al-Ahly won the Super Cup in its twenty-first edition for the fourteenth time in its history, after defeating Modern Future by four goals to two.

Al-Ahly Mahmoud Abdel Menham Kahraba scored goals in the 12th minute and Hussein Al-Shahat in the 34th minute, and Modest and Karim Fouad scored the third and fourth goals in the 114th and 116th minutes before the end of the second extra half.

Omar Al-Saeed and Mohamed Mahmoud scored for the Future team in the 75th and 77th minutes in the final of the Egyptian Super Cup for Champions Clubs.

The Egyptian Super Cup was held in the UAE at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
