The Football Association has finally decided to hold the Egypt Cup final between Zamalek and Pyramids at Cairo International Stadium, after reversing the idea of holding it outside Egypt.
The Football Association offered Zamalek and Pyramids the option of hosting the Egypt Cup final on May 20 with Egyptian referees, based on the recommendation of Oscar Ruiz, head of the Referees Committee.
The Football Association is awaiting the two clubs' response to the proposal, especially since bringing in a foreign crew would cost the requesting club $50,000.
