On Monday, the Egyptian Football Association announced the cancelation of the 2024 Egypt Women's Super Cup.
The match was set for Tuesday, December 3, between Masar, and Wadi Degla.
The decision of the cancelation came after Wadi Degla apologized for not participating in the game.
After that, EFA contacted Zed to participate in the game instead of Wadi Degla, before canceling it.
Wadi Degla justified their decision that EFA previously informed the two clubs that the Women's Super Cup is canceled, not postponed, and it is not enlisted in 2024/2025 schedule.
The club added that they gave the players time off to study or rest.
