Sources from the Egyptian Football Association told reporters that Al Ahly and Pyramids will represent Egypt in the CAF Champions League, while Al Zamalek and Al Masry will represent Egypt in the CAF Confederation Cup in the next season.
It is worthy mentioning that Egypt's Al Ahly won the CAF Champions League for 2023/2024 season, and Egypt's Al Zamalek won the CAF Confederation Cup for 2023/2024 season.
As the CAF Super Cup's both parties are Egyptian, the Egyptian authorties contacted CAF to organize the one game-tournament at Egypt's New Adminstrative Capital Stadium.
