Education Min. Announces Final Exams Plans

The Ministry of Education announced on Sunday final exams' plans after successive discussions with concerned medical authorities led by the Ministry of Health.

In an official statement, the ministry announced that the April exam will be the final one for all school grades from Kindergarten to the second year of high school. They will take place between April 26 to 28.

School Student's annual summer break will start immediately after the exams for the mentioned grades.

Regarding the exams of the certificates of preparatory and high schools' students, they will take place according to the previously announced schedules, however, students will not be obliged to attend any school classes.

Students of international schools will have their exams according to previously announced schedules with giving the students the choice of attending school classes or applying online learning methods.

However, the maximum number of days of attending schools is three days only weekly.

Concerning technical schools and special needs students and, the ministry will announce later the possible methods of evaluation for the additional curriculum that are not considered in the grades this week.

Furthermore, concerned authorities undertake to provide students with all protective measures against the COVID-19 outbreak during school classes and exams.

Finally, the ministry asserted that it is doing its best for conducting the final exams for the final years of preparatory school and high school students and preserving the students' health and safety.
