D3 will be buzzing with fashion energy for a whole week as DFW showcases the best in haute couture and streetwear.
With over 30 fashion brands from across the globe, including France, India, Italy, and the UAE, expect a stunning display of creativity and style. From the timeless elegance of Rizman Ruzaini’s kebaya-inspired collection to the transformative journey of Amjad Khalil’s haute couture, the opening day showcased a diverse range of talent and inspiration.
Rizman Ruzaini: A Nostalgic Ode to Malaysian Heritage
Malaysian design duo Rizman Ruzaini set the tone for the week with their SS25 collection, “Mustika.” Inspired by the 1999 film “Perempuan Melayu Terakhir,” the collection was a beautiful tribute to Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage.
The kebaya, a traditional garment, took centre stage, reimagined in modern silhouettes with intricate embroidery and beadwork.

Amjad Khalil: A Journey from Darkness to Light
Libyan designer Amjad Khalil captivated the audience with his “Beyond Black” haute couture collection. Each piece represented a chapter of transformation, a journey from darkness to light.

Erick Bendana: A Celebration of Nicaraguan Culture
Erick Bendana’s “505” collection was a vibrant celebration of Nicaraguan culture. The designer seamlessly blended traditional elements with contemporary aesthetics, creating a collection that was both authentic and stylish. From the intricate prints inspired by Nicaraguan dances to the stunning evening gowns, Bendana’s collection showcased the beauty and diversity of his homeland.
Angelo Estera: A Fusion of East and West
Renowned Filipino fashion designer Angelo Estera made a grand debut at DFW. His SS25 collection, inspired by his travels from the Oriental Far East to the Arabian Sahara, was a beautiful fusion of Eastern and Arabian influences.

La Moda Italiana: A Showcase of Italian Excellence
In addition to the runway shows, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) debuted its inaugural “La Moda Italiana: Dubai Edition” exhibition.
The exhibition showcased the excellence of 25 Italian fashion brands, highlighting the strong and growing cultural and economic ties between Italy and the UAE.
