Rome and Milan played out a 1-1 draw on Sunday evening at the Stadio Olimpico in the 22nd round of the Serie A season.
The first half ended goalless, but Milan took the lead in the 62nd minute through De Winter. Rome responded with a penalty by Lorenzo Pellegrini in the 74th minute to level the score.
Rome’s lineup included Svilar, Mancini, Ndicka, Chalarci, Yeslik, Cristante, Koni, Wesley, Dybala, Soli, and Malin.
Milan fielded Maignan, Tomori, Gabbia, De Winter, Salemiçers, Ritchi, Modric, Vovanna, Bartesagi, Nkunku, and Liao.
With the draw, Rome remains third in the Serie A standings with 43 points, while Milan is second with 47 points, behind leaders Inter Milan, who have 52 points.
Rome had won three consecutive league matches prior to this game, keeping their slim hopes alive for a Serie A title this season.
