Four civilians were killed and 12 others were wounded in Ukrainian shelling in Donetsk during the last 24 hours.

This statement was made by Donetsk People’s Republic Mission in the Joint Ceasefire supervision center.

A statement issued by the mission and published on Telegram said during the past 24 hours, the mission recorded 58 shooting incidents by Ukrainian forces, and 508 units of various munitions were fired.

The statement added that during the past day, we received information about the killing of 4 civilians, including a girl, born in 2012, and 12 others were wounded in the districts of Kyivskyi, Petrovske, and Voroshilovskiy in Donetsk and Aleksandrovka.

It is noteworthy that since the beginning of Moscow’s special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, Western countries, led by the US, have sent billions of dollars in weapons and ammunition to support the Ukrainian forces against the Russian army, in a move that Moscow considered aimed at inflaming and prolonging the conflict.

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Moscow does not plan to occupy Ukrainian territory and that the goal of the operation is to protect people who, for eight years, have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime.
