Dominique Hourani Lauds Egypt's Support for Lebanon (VIDEO)

Actress Dominique Hourani lauded Egypt's support for the Lebanese state and people, following the October 17  Revolution that created political crisis in Lebanon, and following the Beirut explosion.

Hourani added that Egypt has a beautiful nature with charming golden sands in Sharm, Hurghada and El Gouna, encouraging Egyptian to go to the beach and enjoy their country. She noted that the most Egyptian food she loves when visiting Egypt is koshary and Mulukhiyah with rabbits.

Concerning her acting career, the actress said that she will play two roles, the first in a series "Khetm Khourug", a drama that talks about a hero whom she did not marry because of an inheritance issue, in addition to her role as the head of the mafia in the movie "Sharabeya".

In the film, she hates her husband but loves her another whom did not marry until the end of the movie nor she could hide her feelings of intimacy towards him.

Hourani added that she hopes that the producers would not judge her roles by her looks, and rather by her talent, as she studied acting and knows how to perform all roles, whether comedy or drama.

Dominique explained that her earlier job as a model taught her how to stand and pose in front of the camera, adding that her personal life is not like the artistic one, as she shy person, who does not like to talk much, like she does in front of the camera.

She made it clear to Fashion Journalist Ahmed Adel that she is an "Arab artist", not a Lebanese one, as she has fans across the Arab world, including Tunisia, Algeria, Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Egypt and Sudan.

Concerning her diet, she stressed that she does not eat any fat or fried foods, as they are harmful to health and cause obesity. "I wake up early to see the sun at least an hour or two a day," she said, advising her followers to exercise at least an hour a day and to be exposed to the sun, whether by going to a sports club or walking in the elsewhere. "I used to play basketball, ping-pong, tennis and swimming."

The star broke down in tears, when asked about whether her father encourage her in her artistic career. She said that her father passed away a year ago, and she thanked him for his support, saying that he is a role model for her, who made everything in her life beautiful.

She pointed out that her father was a historian, book author, and researcher, who used to write about the history of the Arab World. "My father encouraged me to act, he aspired to appear on television, and to become a famous person.

She confirmed that she hates porce, loves her husband and loves raising her children alongside her work, as she makes a balance between her work, family, and her daughter.
