Dieng Crowned "Best Player" in Al Ahly-Wydad 2nd Leg Encounter

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) named Al Ahly midfielder Aliou Dieng on Saturday the "best player" in the Red Devils' encounter against Moroccan Wydad during the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final.

"Officially, the Total Best Player award for the semi-final match between Al-Ahly and Wydad goes to Alieu Dieng," the confederation tweeted on Saturday morning.

The CAF also published a video showing the most prominent footages of Dieng during Wydad clash.

The Red Devils qualified for the  final match of the championship, Friday, after confirming their superiority over Wydad, winning the second leg 3-1, with an aggregate score of 5-1 in the home and away matches.
