Rumors have been circulating within the past couple of hours that former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak died due to his health deteriorating within the last couple of months. As a result, he was escorted to a hospital earlier this week to perform surgery.
However these rumors have been denied by his closest people.
Writer Fajr El-Saeed denied these rumors a while ago, pleading against spreading lies about the former Egyptian President assuring the public that he has a lot of supporters within the Arab Region.
Also Farid El-Deeb, attorney and close friend to the former Egyptian President, denied these rumors affirming that he had just visited Mubarak minutes ago and that his health is now stable.
El-Deeb added that the former president has partially recovered from his latest health deterioration, but will remain under medical supervision within the upcoming hours.
Lastly, the eldest son of the former president Alaa Mubarak, tweeted yesterday that his father successfully performed surgery and will recover fully soon.
