Early Saturday, Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz will make his first appearance with the Moroccan First National Football team.

Morocco will face Angola in a friendly game as part of the FIFA International Break, and both teams' preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz decided to represent Morocco instead of Spain.

Diaz represented Spain only once, scoring during a 4-0 friendly win over Lithuania in 2021.

Diaz was born in Malaga but he is eligible to represent Morocco through his father.

Morocco spent five years to convince Diaz to play for them. The Moroccan FA president, Fouzi Lekjaa, and politicians from the country visited Diaz, in addition to the coach of the team to convince the 24-year-old player to play for Morocco.
