Christie's Auction to Showcase Yellow Rose Diamond

Christie’s is set to offer a 202.18 carat yellow diamond at its upcoming Magnificent jewellers sale in Geneva, in May 15

The unmounted pear modified brilliant-cut, fancy-intense-yellow, SI1-clarity stone originated from South Africa. Known as The Yellow Rose, the diamond, which exhibits a medium-blue fluorescence, where it is expected to fetch more than $4.4 million.

Here are the important pieces:

This cushion-shaped, 11.03-carat Kashmir sapphire and diamond ring has a price range of $828,676 to $1.3 million.

This cushion-shaped, 5.03-carat, pigeon’s blood Burmese ruby ring with old-cut diamonds has a presale price tag of up to $1.1 million.

 

A ring with an octagonal step-cut, 15.94-carat Colombian emerald and diamonds is predicted to bring in $773,431 to $1.1 million.

A ring featuring a cushion-shaped, 6.05-carat Burmese ruby center stone with a surround of pear-shaped diamonds has a presale estimate of $828,676 to $1.2 million.

 This pear brilliant-cut, 30.02-carat, D-color, internally flawless, type IIa diamond pendant is expected to fetch between $1.8 to $2.9 million.

A pair of earrings set with pear brilliant-cut, K-color, VS2-clarity diamonds weighing 30.03 and 30.02 carats carries an estimate of $1.1 to $1.7 million.

Christie’s will sell this pear brilliant-cut, 20.02-carat, D-color, internally flawless diamond ring by Cartier for up to $1.8 million.

A ring by Tiffany , bearing an emerald-cut, 23.15-carat, D-flawless diamond center stone, carries an estimate of $1.4 to $2 million.

Two necklaces, one fitted with 171 natural pearls and the other with 182, an estimate range of $1.8 to $2.5 million.
