On Thursday, Didier Deschamps announced the squad that will participate in France's games against the Netherlands and Ireland in March as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Deschamps chose three players to debut with Les Bleus. They are Brice Samba (RC Lens), Khéphren Thuram (OGC Nice), and Wesley Fofana (Chelsea).
Many players from the 2022 World Cup squad will continue their road with the French team such as Olivier Giroud (AC Milan), Adrien Rabiot (Juventus) as well as Marseille’s Jordan Veretout. Meanwhile, goalkeeping trio Mike Maignan (AC Milan), Brice Samba (RC Lens) and Alphonse Areola (West Ham).
