Deputy Minister of Tourism meets Secretary of Chinese Communist Party of Hebei

 Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, Ghada Shalaby, met with Mr. Ni Yuefeng, Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party in Hebei Province, and his accompanying delegation, during his current visit to Egypt, in the presence of Ambassador Liao Liqiang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Egypt.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of the partnership between Egypt and China, and enhancing aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields, as China is considered a strategic partner of Egypt, and relations between them are witnessing great development in several fields, especially in tourism and antiquities.

For her part, Ghada Shalaby pointed out to the close relations between the political leadership in the two countries, which reflects positively on the growth of commercial, economic, political, cultural and tourism relations.

She also stressed the importance of the Chinese market, as it is one of the most important tourism markets targeted by the ministry, pointing out to the increase in the number of Chinese tourists arriving to Egypt during 2023 by 254% compared to 2022.
