According to Iranian sources, the death toll from Israeli airstrikes in Iran has surged to 585, with at least 1,326 others injured since the beginning of the assault.

The Israeli military confirmed ongoing operations targeting multiple strategic locations in and around Tehran early Wednesday.

Iranian media reported powerful explosions in eastern Tehran and strikes on the Khojir missile production facility, a site previously targeted in 2023. Additional blasts were heard in Zanjan province, while Imam Hossein University, affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was reportedly hit.

The IRGC issued a statement declaring that its missile attacks on Israeli airbases would continue in a complex and escalating manner.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei echoed this stance on social media, stating that Iran would respond to Israel with full force, declaring the beginning of a broader confrontation.

The escalating military exchange follows earlier Iranian missile salvos aimed at Israeli targets and comes amid a dramatic worsening of regional tensions.
