Death toll from Moroccan quake rises 2122

The Moroccan Ministry of the Interior said that the death toll from the devastating earthquake that struck the country rose to 2,122  while 2,421 were injured.

Eid al-Tarzi, a scientist of earthquakes and natural disasters, described the earthquake that struck Morocco as "devastating," stressing that its power was equivalent to 25 nuclear bombs, in terms of the volume of detonation caused by these bombs.

Many countries and organizations offered their condolences to Morocco over the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the Kingdom on Saturday night, as the Kingdom experienced a disaster and a terrifying night.
