The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, from March 2nd to May 2nd, has risen to 2,659 killed and 8,183 injured.
In a statement released today, Saturday, the Operations Center explained that the ongoing Israeli attacks on various Lebanese regions have resulted in further civilian casualties, amid continued air raids and shelling on several southern towns.
The statement noted that health authorities and medical teams are continuing their field efforts to provide first aid and medical care to the injured, while closely monitoring the developments of the field and humanitarian situation.
