National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure in Indonesia announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll from the recent earthquake that struck the Indonesian island of "Java" has risen to 268, after more bodies were found under the ruins of collapsed buildings.
The Indonesian agency said - according to the American network (ABC News) - that 151 people are still missing in the aftermath of the earthquake, which measured 5.6 on the Richter scale, noting that search and relief operations are still underway.
In turn, the head of the agency said that 1083 people were injured in the earthquake that occurred yesterday (Monday) near the city of "Cianjur".
