The Cuban officials announced that the number of victims of the explosion at the Saratoga hotel in the center of the capital, Havana, reached 30 people.
Rescue crews are still searching for victims in the wreckage of the Cuban hotel, ABC News reported Sunday, adding that the Saratoga hotel was to open soon after a two-year closure.
Noteworthy, a massive explosion rocked one of Cuba’s most exclusive five-star hotels.
It is believed that a gas tanker which was parked outside the Saratoga Hotel in Old Havana ignited, causing an explosion which destroyed several floors of the building.
