Roberto De Zerbi has reaffirmed his commitment to Tottenham Hotspur, insisting he will remain in charge even if the club is relegated from the Premier League.
Tottenham head into the final day of the season just two points above the relegation zone and need a result against Everton to secure survival.
Speaking before the decisive clash, De Zerbi said: “It is still an honour for me to coach Tottenham, even if we are fighting to stay in the league. Football is more than just the table.”
The Italian manager also stressed his belief in the squad’s quality, urging his players to show courage and handle the pressure in one of the club’s most important matches in recent years.
