On Monday, The Athletic revealed that Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne prefers to end his football career with the Citizens, however, the City may be interested in accepting the Saudi offers to capture the services of the Belgian player.

He is among the top targeted names by Saudi officials after signing football megastars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Karim Benzema.

The Athletic added that City will keep an open mind about selling De Bruyne in case of receiving an eye-watering offer.

The Belgian enters the final year of his contract this summer.

De Bruyne, who turns 33 in June, would like to renew and potentially retire at City in a couple of years, in addition, he turned down almost £60 million a year to move to Saudi Arabia last summer.

Until now, the negotiations are yet to start and the sporting director of the Saudi Pro League Michael Emenalo still hopes to bring the Belgium international to the Middle East.
