On Monday, Spain chose 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal and 4-time grand slam champion Carlos Alcaraz in the five-man Davis Cup team.
On the other hand, world no.1 Jannik Sinner will also compete in the final eight in Malaga.
Nadal didn't participate in the US Open and Laver Cup because of injury and physical issues.
Alcaraz will be one Spain's key players as they bid to win the title the first time since 2019.
They will begin their campaign against the Netherlands.
Alcaraz helped Team Europe to Laver Cup victory over Team World last weekend in Berlin.
US Open and Australian Open champion Sinner is part of Italy's team for the finals, which start on November 19.
