Reports revealed Saturday that Brazilian former Barcelona defender Dani Alves has gone on a hunger strike in prison because of his wife, Spanish model Joana Sanz,'s decision to separate from him.
Alves was arrested on January 20, accused of sexually assaulting a girl in a nightclub.
According to the British newspaper "The Sun", Alves has now gone on a hunger strike in the prison where he is being held, due to his wife's request for a divorce.

The British newspaper indicated that Alves was completely broken and very nervous, after his wife told him about this, and he remained not eating at all for several days.
“The Sun” stated that Alvis initially denied that he knew the girl who allegedly assaulted her, then changed his testimony before the judge at the hearing, claiming that everything that happened between them was consensual.
