Daily Mail has named Liverpool star Mohamed Salah among the best 50 footballers of the decade.
The iconic Egyptian star came in the 30th spot, beating some prominent players, most notably Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy, Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, Man City's winger Raheem Sterling, the Citizens' midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.
The British newspaper hailed the 27-year-old player since he joined the Reds in the 2017-18 season from Rome in a deal worth up to £34 million.
"The Egyptian King, as he's known on Merseyside, has become Premier League royalty since joining the Reds from Roma for just £34million back in 2017," Daily Mail said.

It also highlighted Salah's achievements since he came to Anfield as Mo won the PFA Players' Player of the Year award in his first season with the Reds.
"He scooped PFA Players' Player of the Year, FWA Football Writers' Footballer of the Year and Football Supporters' Federation's (FSF) Men's Player of the Year in his first season. It was a blistering campaign that saw him score 44 times in all competitions and announce himself as one of the world's best," the British newspaper explained.
The 27-year-old player guided the Reds during the current season to claim the Uefa Champions League, Uefa Super Cup, Club Fifa World Cup titles.

"Since then, he's helped Liverpool to the Champions League, European Super Cup, Club World Cup and it seems inevitable that more silverware is on the way this season," Daily Mail concluded.
Noteworthy, Mo made twenty-six caps with the Reds in all the competition, netting thirteen goals and made four assists.
