The President of Cyprus added, in his speech at the Egyptian-European Summit, “The European Union and Egypt are strategic partners due to their interest in the prospects for security and prosperity, and this new chapter in the relationship between Egypt and the European Union shows that Egypt is a pillar of stability amid threats and conflicts".
" At the Gaza level, we thank the leadership of Egypt for securing the issue of a ceasefire and the release of the hostages, as well as for carrying out a large-scale humanitarian aid operation to rescue civilians in Gaza and stop the conflict".
