Nicosia, Cyprus – Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos held a telephone call on Thursday with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati to discuss the rapidly evolving developments in the region.
According to a statement by Kombos, both ministers emphasized the urgent need for all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid further escalation. They reaffirmed their shared conviction that diplomacy remains the only viable path toward resolving ongoing regional tensions.
The call comes amid heightened instability in the Middle East, with both Egypt and Cyprus playing active diplomatic roles in promoting de-escalation and regional dialogue.
