The 10th edition of the "Finjan Al-Khair" (Cup of Goodness) festival officially launched yesterday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Organized by the First Women's Charitable Association in Jeddah, the event serves as a premier community platform designed to maximize social impact while fostering the values of charitable work and solidarity.
A Global Cultural Gathering This year's festival is more than a charity drive; it has transformed into a vibrant cultural and humanitarian hub. More than 15 General Consulates in Jeddah from around the world are participating, showcasing their unique heritage through dedicated pavilions. Visitors can experience a rich tapestry of international cultures through musical performances, folklore dances, traditional handicrafts, and authentic ethnic cuisines.
In addition to the diplomatic showcases, the festival features extensive family-oriented activities, shopping sections, and entertainment for all age groups.
Charity with a Vision Dr. Hala Al-Shaer, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the First Women's Charitable Association, emphasized that reaching the 10th-anniversary milestone is a testament to the festival's sustainable impact on the community. All proceeds from the three-day event are directly allocated to support comprehensive development programs. These initiatives focus on empowering the next generation, building professional capacities, and discovering local talents.
"Our goal is to create a lasting legacy of empowerment," Dr. Al-Shaer stated. "The festival is a celebration of what we can achieve when culture and charity work hand-in-hand."
Event Details The festival is taking place at the Park Hyatt Jeddah and will run for three consecutive days. Doors are open daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The event is supported by various national partners and sponsors, all contributing to the association’s mission of societal service and development in line with Saudi Arabia's broader community goals.
