The Minister of Culture Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem honored the name of Mohamed Hassan Khalifa, dedicating his family the shield of the 51st Edition of Cairo Book Fair.

Abdel Dayem said that destiny did not give the young writer Mohamed Hassan Khalifa more time to confirm his promising talent, which is shown in his first story collection.

The minister directed concerned officials to print his books through the Book Authority. This includes the play” I saw My Death” which was displayed in Sharjah Creativity Festival.

The Ministry of Culture is negotiating with the publishing house, which owns the copyrights of his collection, to print it.

This came in the symposium of honoring the late author.

It is worthy of note that Muhammad Hassan Khalifa had passed away after the inauguration of Cairo International Book Fair as a result of a heart attack and after publishing his first anecdotal series entitled “ Announcing a Lonely Heart”
