Croatia successfully secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a comfortable 3–1 victory over the Faroe Islands in their Group 12 clash of the European qualifiers.
Croatia’s goals were scored by Joško Gvardiol in the 23rd minute, Lovro Musa in the 57th minute, and Nikola Vlašić in the 70th minute.
The Faroe Islands netted their only goal in the 16th minute through Turi.
With this result, Croatia tops Group 12 with 19 points from 7 matches.
The Czech Republic follows in second place with 13 points from 7 matches, while the Faroe Islands sit third with 12 points from 8 matches.
