Ronaldo Is 14 Goals Away from Being World's Top Scorer

The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Italian Juventus striker, is now very close to becoming the world's top scorer after scoring the 744th goal in his official matches' career.

Ronaldo has reached this score after his two goals against Spezia, Sunday, in the sixth round of Italian league matches.

He succeeded in leading Juventus to beat Spezia, the newly promoted club to the 1st pision of the Italian league, with a score of 4-1; he came as a substitute in the match, after recovering from his Coronavirus infection, and he succeeded in scoring 2 goals in the 59th and 76th minutes.

He is only 14 goals away from becoming the top goal-scoring player in history during his participation in official matches, after scoring his 744 goals, right under the former Brazil legend Pelé, who leads the record with 757 goals.

Czech Joseph Bican comes second in the top scorers' list, with 756 goals, and former Brazilian star Romario comes third, with 749 goals.

The legendary Ronaldo scored 643 goals with all the clubs he played for during his career in 855 matches in all competitions; he scored 5 goals with Sporting Lisbon, 118 with Manchester United, 450 with Real Madrid, and 70 goals with his current team Juventus.

Internationally, Ronaldo scored 101 goals for the Portuguese national team in 167 matches.
