Portuguese Legend Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to depart the Riyadh-based Al Nassr club after a few months, El Nacional reported on Tuesday.
The Spanish outlet reveals that Real Madrid are seeking Ronaldo's return as an ambassador for the club, not as a player.
It said: "Florentino Perez has guaranteed that [Ronaldo] will not lack work at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"But, obviously, he wouldn't do it to be a player, because he considers that it is a cycle that should be considered closed."
In addition, Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez wants a return to the Spanish capital where the couple met.
The Portuguese superstar joined the Saudi club early this year, and he agreed £ 175 million-a-year contract until 2025 with the Saudi club.
