Al Nassr cruised to a commanding 4-0 victory over Al Hazem on Saturday night at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, climbing to the top of the Saudi Pro League standings.
Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo delivered another masterclass, scoring twice in the 13th and 79th minutes to spearhead Al Nassr’s emphatic win.
French winger Kingsley Coman added a third goal in the 30th minute, while Brazilian talent Ângelo Gabriel sealed the rout with a strike in the 77th minute.
With his brace, Ronaldo surpassed the milestone of 500 career goals scored after the age of 30, further cementing his remarkable longevity at the highest level.
The victory extends Al Nassr’s winning streak to eight consecutive league matches, underlining their strong push in the title race.
Al Nassr now sit first with 55 points, one point ahead of Al Hilal, who dropped points in a draw against Al Ittihad. Meanwhile, Al Hazem remain 12th with 24 points after 23 rounds.
Alongside Ronaldo, Al Nassr boast an impressive array of talent including João Félix, Sadio Mané, Marcelo Brozović, Mohamed Simakan and Sultan Al-Ghannam.
Historically, Al Nassr have dominated this fixture, winning 12 of their 16 Saudi Pro League meetings with Al Hazem, compared to just two victories for their opponents and two draws.
