Crew of French Amphibian Helicopter Carrier “ Mistral” Visit Giza’s Pyramids, Saqqara

It the frame of efforts exerted by the Ministry of Antiquities& Tourism to promote the ancient Egyptian civilization, tourist and archeological destinations that distinguish Egypt, area of Giza’s Pyramids, Saqqara, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir , downtown Cairo, have hosted the crew of the French Amphibian Helicopter carrier “ Mistral” during their visit to Egypt that lasted for five days.

Members of the French crew toured the pyramids area where they watched the panorama and Sphinx.

They took memorial photographs and expressed their happiness for sightseeing one of the most important monuments of the Egyptian civilianization along with the Great Pyramid which is the only wonder of the seven ones in the ancient world that survives until now.

The visiting crew also toured the archeological area of Saqqara, south to Giza.

They admired this area so they came back to it over two days.

They visited the Pyramid of Djoser, the Serapeum , Mereruka’s tomb, and the Pyramid of Teti at Saqqara.

The French crew also visited the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir for hours.

They visited Hall of King Tutankhamen, Narmer Palette, the wooden statute of Kaaper or Ka’aper , who was also commonly known as “Sheikh el-Beled” and other important artifacts housed in the Egyptian Museum.

They admired the artifacts on show and the historic building of the Museum.

Precaution measures were applied during the visit paid by the French servicemen.
