Creative Child Theatre Initiated to Cement Family Empowerment

Arts promotes morality and develops motivation and guides youth to the work horizons and belonging.

From this perspective, a program of family empowerment and child protection from the risk of losing family care has been initiated.

On the same vein, Egyptian Association of Children's Villages ''SOS'' organized a theater group whose heroes were young girls and the targeted children who performed for the five consecutive years; however, a different play would be presented, sponsor by Major General kamel Mostafa, the association Executive Director.

This year, a play will be presented ''kalik fa Halak'', taken from the text of great writer Lenin Ramli (Inta Hur). The team selected the text without the intervention of supervisors.

Manal Badr the Family Empowerment Program director, reported that, the artists are a group of children, youth and girls from very simple families without fathers from family empowerment program and child protection combating the risk of losing family care; it is considered as a technical part of psychological training and qualification them.

This year, the team will perform (Khalik in Halak "Malakesh Daawa") and comic show featuring 65 children.

Badr confirmed that the show will be staged on November 2, at El Hosaber Theater at 6:30 pm; the concert price will be symbolic to meet the show expenses from rent to the theater and others.
