The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced on Wednesday that 12 mosques in 5 regions were temporarily closed after a number of cases of COVID-19 were confirmed inside them.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a total of 502 mosques were closed in the Kingdom within 59 days, 475 of them were opened after the completion of sterilization, in the context of ensuring the safety of worshippers.
The COVID-19 cases have been recorded in more than 210 states.
