Costa Rica left it late to snatch a 1-0 hard-fought win over Japan in the second round of World Cup's group stage.
Costa Rica kicked off their adventure in the tournament with a humiliated 0-7 defeat to Spain, while Japan came from behind to secure a 2-1 historic win over Germany.
Despite enjoyed the bulk of possession, Japan failed to pose a real threat towards Costa Rica goalkeeper.
Keysher Fuller scored the only goal of the match when he picked up the ball on the edge of the penalty area, before firing a side-footed effort into the top corner of the net.
