Jordan imposed, on Tuesday night, a full curfew, to confront the outbreak of the new Coronavirus, after the voting in the parliamentary elections has ended.

Jordanian media said on Tuesday that the 24-hour curfew will be in effect nationwide at 10:00 pm, but it was postponed for one hour at a request of the elections commission.

It is scheduled that the curfew will last for 4 days, and will end next Sunday morning.

On Tuesday, Jordan recorded the highest daily death toll with Coronavirus, as 91 people died and about 6 thousand others tested positive for the virus.

The Ministry of Health called on citizens to adhere to the principles of public safety, take into account social distancing, stay away from gatherings and crowds and wear masks.
