Commandments of the USA and European armies have announced that hundreds of military personnel were infected with the Coronavirus.

The European states and the USA decided to reduce their military operations home and abroad. The armies introduced stricter regulations to prevent the deadly virus from spreading.

More than 100 mariners of the manpower of US Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier contracted the disease.

There are expectations the number of the ill mariners will increase significantly within the days to come.

US Secretary of Navy decided to fire the commander of that aircraft carrier.

The infections with the Coronavirus proved the vulnerability of health regulations applied to the US military bases and the aircraft carriers in high seas.

In France, Spain and Italy the military operations were either reduced or suspended to another notice. The three states are among the worst-hit by the Coronavirus and hundreds of their citizens were infected.

Col. Fredric Barberi, spokesman of the French army, said that the higher commandment was forced to cancel unnecessary marine operations and modify the deployments of forces or diminishing them.

The French army announced on Friday, that 600 soldiers and officers were infected with novel Coronavirus,  renamed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as COVID-19.

However, the Ministry of Defense in Italy reveals data of infections among the officers only. Italian Chief-in Staff announced the death of a high ranking officer of Lieut. Col.

On Sunday, the Turkish authorities said that reduce movements of forces deployed to Syria as cases of the infection with the Coronavirus go higher.

On the other hand, the WHO warns of lifting the strict restraints taken by almost all countries in the world.

The organization ranked in last March the disease as a pandemic.

It coordinates with governments and universities to develop an effective vaccine against the virus.

But, some experts say that any vaccine would not be at hand after a year or 18 months.
