US Federal Reserve Bank has released a statement saying that the US citizens who gain less than forty thousand dollars annually lost their jobs in higher rates due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The statement, entitled "The Economic Welfare of the US Families", made clear that the consequences of the deadly virus affect badly the less-income people. The bank's statement based on a poll conducted in April.

About 20% of citizens of the United States of America (USA) were polled throughout last month.

According to the results of the poll, the pollsters said that as of the beginning of March when the pandemic started to spread, people in USA started to lose their jobs, compelled to go on holidays or enforced to work for lesser hours weekly.

The statement of the Federal Reserve Bank explained that only 19% of those who gain an annual income ranges between $40 to 100 thousand dollars have lost their jobs since the inception of the pandemic in the USA.

On the other hand, only 13% of those who gain more than $ 100 thousand lost their jobs. These percentages mean that the poorer people are the most inflicted by the deadly virus.

Along with losing jobs, income of big numbers of the Americans slid down in March. About 23% of US citizens gained lesser income in March compared to the levels of February this year. Those who lost their jobs or enforced to reduce their weekly work hours, expect to face many hardships when they try to foot their bills.
