Coronavirus Deaths Rise in Israel to 685

Israel announced that the number of total coronavirus cases has risen to 92,680, of which 23,491 are active, while the death toll has risen to 685. 

382 patients are still in serious condition, with 112 of those on ventilators. There were 9,273 tests taken on Saturday.

Israel and the occupied West Bank are dealing with a renewed coronavirus outbreak, leading to proposals and measures intended to curb its spread and mitigate the economic ramifications of the crisis by both Israeli and Palestinian authorities, according to Haaretz report. Moreover, the Anti-Coronavirus Unit in East Jerusalem announced, Sunday, the registration of 146 new cases of COVID-19 for Palestinians in the occupied Jerusalem within the past two days.

In a related regard, Tel Aviv announced a list of about twenty countries in which the novel coronavirus has low rates.

Israelis and foreigners who hold specific visas can travel from them to Israel without being subject to quarantine upon their arrival.

The list of "green" countries includes European countries: Britain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia, Bulgaria.

The list also includes Canada, New Zealand, Rwanda, Jordan, Georgia, and Hong Kong.

The "green" list excludes the United States of America, the main ally of the Hebrew state, which still records a high rate of infections, as well as France.
