Converted, a company specializing in AI-powered advertising technology for emerging markets, has announced its acquisition of Mitcha, one of Egypt’s leading e-commerce platforms dedicated to supporting local designers. The move represents a strategic step aimed at expanding a data-driven digital commerce ecosystem built around measurable results.
As part of the acquisition, Mitcha’s founder and Shark Tank Egypt investor Hilda Louca will join Converted as Partner and Executive Director, where she will lead the company’s strategic partnerships and regional expansion efforts.
The deal marks an important step toward integrating Mitcha’s community of designers and customers into the Converted ecosystem, strengthening the company’s ability to develop advertising products focused on driving real conversions.
The acquisition will also accelerate the launch of “Converted Orders”, a product designed to power highly targeted advertising campaigns centered on generating actual sales by directly linking advertising spend to orders and revenue.
“Converted orders’s” operating model integrates digital advertising with payment processing and order verification within a single unified system. This enables advertising campaigns to learn from real sales data rather than clicks alone, improving advertising efficiency and enhancing the ability to measure the true return on marketing investments.
In her new role, Hilda Louca will lead efforts to build strategic partnerships and drive the company’s regional expansion, with a particular focus on developing alliances with partners across Egypt and the wider region.
Hilda brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship and digital commerce. She founded Mitcha, a platform dedicated to empowering local designers, and has been recognized by Forbes Middle East. She has also served as a jury member on Shark Tank Egypt.
Hilda Louca, Founder and CEO of Mitcha, said: “Joining Converted represents an important milestone in Mitcha’s growth journey. By combining our market expertise and strong designer community with Converted’s advanced capabilities in data and product development, we can transform relationships between designers and merchants into measurable commercial outcomes.
I look forward to working with partners across Egypt and the region to launch intelligent AI-powered marketing campaigns that generate real sales for designers and merchants.”
For his part, Mohamed Fergany, Founder and CEO of Converted, stated that the move will enhance the company’s ability to bring together creative talent, audience data, and payment operations within one integrated digital commerce ecosystem.
He added that integrating Mitcha will significantly strengthen Converted Orders and the company’s broader product suite, enabling merchants to scale efficiently and achieve clear, verifiable results from their advertising investments.
Converted is among the leading companies in AI-powered advertising technology, helping merchants turn advertising spend into measurable sales. Its platform integrates digital advertising, payments, and order management, relying on proprietary data and advanced AI technologies to optimize targeting, bidding strategies, and creative performance. The company serves thousands of clients across Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Founded by Hilda Louca, Mitcha is one of Egypt’s prominent platforms supporting local designers. It has built a large customer base and a vibrant community of designers and creative talents. Integrating this community into the Converted ecosystem is expected to expand the company’s product capabilities and create greater growth opportunities for merchants and designers across Egypt and the region.
