Massive Container Ship "ONE INNOVATION" Transits Suez Canal

The “ONE INNOVATION” ship, one of its latest container ships, crossed the Suez Canal within the Southern Convoy, belonging to the Japanese shipping line “OCEAN NETWORK EXPRESS”.

The ship flies the flag of the state of “Liberia”, coming from Singapore and heading to the Dutch port of Rotterdam, with a length of 399.9 meters, a draft of 61.4 feet, and a tonnage of 236.5 thousand tons.

The “ONE” company announced in a press statement that it had received its latest container ship, “ONE INNOVATION”, in early June, which was built in one of the Japanese arsenals of the 24,000 container class.

It emphasized that the ship's capacity amounted to 24,136 containers, with an advanced hull designed in a way that allows it to achieve economies of scale and reduce carbon emissions significantly, aiming to maximize cargo freight and reduce fuel consumption.

“ONE” stated that the ship was equipped with energy-saving devices and an exhaust gas cleaning system to meet the emissions regulations of the International Maritime Organization, in addition to being the first among the six new “Mega Mix” ships that join the ONE fleet, which will operate in the service of trade between Asia and Europe.
