Congolese referee Jean Jacques Ndala was chosen to officiate the Egypt vs Ivory Coast game in the Round of 16 of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Egypt have advanced to the Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 after placing second in Group D, with six points from two victories.
Ivory Coast on the other hand have led Group E as they collected seven points, beating title-holders Algeria in the process.
The two teams are scheduled to clash tomorrow at 6:00 PM, in a game considered by many to be one of Africa’s strongest derbies.
The victorious side will be facing either Morocco or Malawi in the quarter-finals of the prestigious tournament.
