Cold Weather Prevails across Egypt on Friday, Cairo 16°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Friday.

Moderately cold weather is also set to prevail in the South Upper Egypt while the South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges would experience moderate conditions.

It is also foreseen that the country will continue to experience a decline in temperature.

Furthermore, the country will witness fog on some agricultural roads and highways leading to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal cities, and North Upper Egypt.

Winds will occur occasionally in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coasts, North Upper Egypt, and the south of the country.

There are chances of light to medium rain to prevail intermittently in the North coasts and Lower Egypt.

Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime, reaching the point of frost in central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16°C in Cairo, 16°C in Alexandria, 14°C in Marsa Matruh, 16°C in Sohag, 17°C in Qena, and 18°C in Aswan.
