The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in most parts of the country during Monday's daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Meteorologist also predicts that the country will continue to experience a decline in the temperature.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
Moderate rainfall, sometimes thunderstorms, will prevail intermittently in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt.
Light rainfall will hit Cairo, South Lower Egypt, and Canal Cities, at intermittent periods.
It is also predicted that maritime navigation will be disrupted in Marsa Matruh, Alexandria, Beheira, and Kafr El Sheikh with winds averaging 40 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5 to 3.5 meters.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience turbulent waves, ranging between 2.5 to 3.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
Frost is expected in North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and Western Sahara.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 17°C in Cairo, 17°C in Alexandria, 17°C in Marsa Matruh, 19°C in Sohag, 20°C in Qena, and 21°C in Aswan.
