Early Tuesday, Cody Rhodes, the American Nightmare, challenged Brock Lesnar, the Beast, at WWE Backlash next month.
The story began after Lesnar teamed up with Rhodes to take down Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief, and Solo Sikoa, the Enforcer, in a tag team match in the WWE WrestleMania's Raw fallout episode.
Lesnar betrayed Rhodes and attacked him with a strong F5 on the steel steps. Then, Lesnar and Rhodes continued their escalations.
So, Rhodes challenged Lesnar in a match at the upcoming WWE PPV, and it was made official by Adam Pearce.
WWE Backlash will take place on May 6 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Award-winning singer and composer Bad Bunny will be the host of the event.
