Christina Perri and her husband Paul Costabile welcomed their second child, a daughter named Pixie Rose.
Perri announced Sunday the news on Instagram alongside a black-and-white hospital photo.
“She’s here! with a whole lot of faith, trust and pixie dust she has arrived safely. please welcome our magical double rainbow baby girl: Pixie Rose Costabile. 10.22.22 🧚🏻♂️."
The couple, who are also parents to 4-year-old daughter Carmella Stanley, lost their daughter Rosie after she was "born silent" in July 2020 and previously suffered a miscarriage in early January 2020.
She referenced the November 2020 tragedy in her most recent pregnancy reveal in May, writing on Instagram, “Rosie sent Carmella a little sister and we’re very excited. We’ve been having all the feelings, but mostly trying every day to choose joy.”
In June, Perri got candied on her Instagram Story that going to doctor appointments was “so hard” in the wake of her previous losses.
“The anxiety is so big. Do you even look at the screen when the sonogram begins? I can’t yet, I’m always the last to look. I’m grateful every appointment has been positive so far, but gosh, I feel like I’m gonna turn all grey by the time baby is here,” she explained at the time.
The "Jar of Hearts" singer concluded by describing how proud she felt of herself for being emotionally capable of carrying her rainbow baby.
